… just a food blog, incase you wonder if we do anything else besides eat and take pictures of it.
Em and I met up after work for happy hour sushi at Cafe Asia. It’s been ages since we’ve eaten here, and the sushi is actually pretty decently meaty.
The last time I went, the salmon nigiri looked like a parched piece of dried fruit on rice. I always assumed it was another trendy pan-Asian restaurant for lightweights (mostly non-Asian ones hehe jk) – heavy on decor, light on substance.
I’m afraid we might have weirded our waiter out. Em and me on either end of the table, we both had our hair up in a clip, and we were both wearing darkish turquoise green shirts. At the end, we had him split the check evenly, and we left identical checks with identical tips on the table.
