Juicy. I just found out, via the 9:30 Club email list, that Pitchfork (some of us around here like to call them Bitchfork) has started a documentary series called Pitchfork Classic focusing on some seminal indie rock albums. The latest of which is none other than our beloved Belle & Sebastian!
Ah the band for the bookish types. Put this on your to-watch list next time you have a free lazy hour staring you in the face.
What a funny Stuart Murdoch quote from the documentary:
“I always wanted to write about normal people doing normal things, because I wasn’t normal, I was out of the game,” Murdoch recalls in the film. “It was very attractive to me what normal people were doing.”
Gotta love the graphic design for the documentary.
